Would you like to improve your knowledge about electricity? If so, you should check this NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (Required for JIB Gold Card) course, organized by XS Training Limited, that Emagister.co.uk has added to its catalogue.
The Electrical Installation NVQ 2356 Level 3 consists of eight units, 301 to 308 and each unit needs to be complete over three separate occasions. This can be any number of jobs / tasks and does not necessarily mean three separate jobs or three separate locations.
For example, if you were first fixing steel conduit and pvc singles for lighting, this would cover four of these units (301, 304, 305 & 306) on one occasion. In this scenario you would not have carried connecting nor would you have carried out any testing and/or fault finding therefore would not complete the other units for this occasion as you would not have evidence of doing so. Basically, the evidence that you gather determines which units of the NVQ you complete and you complete the NVQ in any order you like.
If you want more information about this programme contact XS Training Limited through Emagister.co.uk without hesitation. You won’t regret it!

Course programme
To be able to class yourself as a fully qualified electrician to JIB standard you must complete an NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation. This NVQ Level 3 can be achieved by the candidate proving competence whilst working as an electrician on site. This means being able to prove your practical skills AND underpinning knowledge, to a satisfactory standard.
There is no examination for this qualification and is achieved purely by the candidates simply recording any electrical work they have carried out. During completion of the portfolio you will be supported by an assessor who will guide and advise you through out this process. This course can be started anytime and there are no entry requirements for this qualification.
Candidates will also be required to successfully complete the AM2.Additional information
This NVQ is required for JIB grading and will help you to obtain your GOLD CARD and recognition as a UK registered electrician with the JIB. Upon successful completion of this NVQ you will need to apply to the JIB and send s copy of the NVQ along with copies of your other electrical installation qualifications and the JIB will then consider you for grading as an electrician.
