Description of the Course
The Level 2 VRQ Technical Certificate in Plumbing is a one year/one day per week for 36 weeks during term time only, intensive learning course. The course is available on either Wednesdays or Saturdays to suit your commitments. (We also have a fast tract, Intensive course that takes place over ten weeks). The course is a mix of practical and theoretical studies giving you the practical skills and the underpinning knowledge required in both the work place and assists you in achieving the assessments listed below plus the final City & Guilds online assessment.

Course content
Over the 36 weeks you will learn a number of skills connected to health and safety, cutting, bend, jointing and fixing of copper tube to various installations. Fabrication and testing of plastic soil and waste pipe work systems. Working with Low Carbon Steel pipe work and fabrication and fixing of sheet lead weathering. How to install, service and maintain basic plumbing systems.

Other information
The course cost is £3500.00 which includes all tuition, registration and exams. The price is also inclusive of a basic hand tool kit, boots and overalls.
Payment can be in instalments as follows: -
