This is a self-directed study workshop running alongside VV413 Beginners jewellery year long course. It is an
opportunity for competent jewellers to work independently, in a well equipped jewellery studio. Available to intermediate and advanced jewellers who are familiar with the City Lit workshop, tools, equipment and health and safety procedures. Perfect for those looking to supplement or follow on their recent courses with additional workshop time to practise, perfect and progress their jewellery making.

No classes on Bank Holidays 6th and 27th May 2019.

About this course

- Work independently on your projects to practice and refine your jewellery making skills.
- Plan, set and manage your own projects within your available time.

City Lit provides almost all the basic tools and equipment you will need for jewellery-making. You are expected to provide the materials for you self-directed projects.

You are advised that sensible footwear must be worn in studio 308. For heath and safety reasons, no sandals, open shoes & small pumps can be worn – even in hot weather.

This is a self-directed workshop, and is not tutored. The tutor will be able to assist with accessing tools and equipment but you are expected to work independently. About your tutor: Noon Mitchelhill Noon Mitchelhill is an established jeweller who has been designing and making for over 20 years. Since graduating with a Masters from the Royal College of Art she has exhibited widely in the UK, Europe, Japan and the USA, and her jewellery has been featured in a range of publications. Noon works predominantly in silver and gold and regularly shows her work through selected galleries and exhibitions such as Contemporary Applied Arts, Made London and Handmade in Britain. Noon has over 20 years' teaching experience teaching and is the course leader for City Lit Beginners Jewellery course.
