EASA/FAR Part-145 Differences - Regulation Essentials for European Repair Stations (Ref: TR16)
Course Overview
Under FAR 145, all performing Inspectors and Release to Service staff in FAA repair stations outside of the United States are to be thoroughly familiar with the regulation1. US and European codes are slightly different and an incomplete
understanding of these differences can lead to hours of needless ‘paper-chasing' trying to catch up and could lead to unwitting non-compliance.
To meet this need, this one-day essentials course has been developed to provide a pragmatic and practical explanation if the regulations, with particular focus on the differences between EASA/FAR rules.
Benefitting from input of our US Office and refined in partnership with our key UK clients who maintain aircraft and components using the FAA and EASA regulatory systems, this course builds on your foundation knowledge of
EASA Part-145 and hones this with an understanding of the US requirements; what elements are applicable and where they are different.
