Course Description
When you achieve your NVQ it will prove that you can work to the standards expected by employers in your industry. Your NVQ will show you are competent to do a job and have the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to do it well.Each NVQ is made up of a number of units. Each unit covers a different work activity, so you can build up to the full NVQ unit by unit.

Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs Grade D, incl. English. (Maths D for some courses). Or Pass in Level 1 Vocational Qual., Merit for BTECs, plus Key Skills Level 1 Comm. (App. of Number for some courses) or equivalent. Diplomas require Functional Skills in ICT, Maths and English.

• Unit 201 Make sure your own actions reduce risks to Health and Safety
• Unit 202 Communicate effectively, with customers and others
• Unit 204 Work alone and develop yourself
• Unit 205 Clean and maintain internal services
• Unit 207 Deal with routine waste
• Unit 208 Clean washroom and replenish supplies

Attendance Modes: Day

Assessment: An approved assessor will visit you in your workplace to assess your practical work and help with building your portfolio. You will need to submit a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the qualification.

Progression Routes: NVQ Level 3 Cleaning Services Supervision, Cleaning supervisor/manager.
