Clinical Coding Refresher

In order to achieve level 3 of Information Governance, a Trust must be seen to be providing a training programme for Clinical Coders, ensuring that the courses are comprehensive and conform to National Standards.

This is a course for Clinical Coders who have previously attended basic training and who have a minimum of 2 years experience.

The course is an opportunity to enhance the coder's knowledge of clinical coding theory, consolidate existing practical coding skills and familiarise themselves with recent developments to ensure consistency with national standards.
