Master in Clinical Education

Programme Overview

This programme acknowledges the role of all clinicians as educators, collaborators, partners and leaders and aims to develop clinical education practice by focusing on quality improvement.

This award (180 Masters credits) is made up of four 30-credit modules and one 60-credit module:

  • Application of Knowledge and Theory to Clinical Education Practice (Module One)
  • Methodologies in Clinical Education (Module Two)
  • Scholarship and Leadership in Clinical Education (Module Three)
  • Clinical Education for Innovation and Quality Improvement (Module Four)
  • Dissertation (Module Five)

You have six years to complete the award, but typically, the Post Graduate Masters can be achieved in three years.
