Developing performance management strategies (Unit code 7002V1 – Credit value 7)
You will learn how to set strategic individual and team objectives to measure performance and use influencing skills to gain commitment from individuals to a course of action.
Financial management (Unit code 7003 V1– Credit value 7)
You will learn about analysis of financial data, accounting conventions and the principles of management accounting in order to make informed decisions on expenditure to ensure sustainability.
Strategic information management (Unit code 7004V1 – Credit value 9)
You will learn about decision-making methods, tools and techniques in order to use information available to make informed strategic decisions and to evaluate and develop capture systems within the organisation.

You will learn methods and techniques to design a project plan and the various steps involved in its construction, the impact it can have on organisational objectives and the role stakeholder support can have on its implementation and operations .
Implementing organisational change strategies (Unit code 7010V1 – Credit value 7)
You will learn methods, tools and techniques to support you in identifying, developing and implementing a change strategy, to minimise adverse effects and how to review and analyse its impact.

You will learn how to produce and implement a plan which will reflect strategic direction, analyse the purpose of a strategic plan and monitor it, and additionally assess how the impact of stakeholder expectations may affect the plan.

Developing Risk Management Strategies (Unit Code 7022V1 - Credit Value 9)
You will learn about developing an organisational risk management strategy, communicating and resourceing risk management strategies and, evaluating outcomes.
Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility(Unit Code 7023V1 - Credit Value)
You will learn about developing an organisational Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, aligning this with business objectives, implementing the strategy, measuring outcomes and reinforcing the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy.
Level 7 – Award in Strategic Management & Leadership
To achieve the CMI Award in Strategic Management & Leadership, you need to complete at least one unit with a minimum value of 6 credits.
Level 7 – Certificate in Strategic Management & Leadership
To achieve the CMI Certificate in Strategic Management & Leadership, you need to complete any combination of units to achieve a minimum of 13 credits.
Level 7 - Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership
To achieve the CMI Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership, you will need to complete 5 units of study to achieve a minimum of 39 units of credit.
Level 7 – Extended Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership
To achieve the CMI Extended Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership, you need to complete Units 7001V1, 7002V1, 7003V1, 7004V1, 7005V1 and 7006V1 plus at least three other units to achieve a minimum of 66 credits.
