I once enquiried about this course and then received a call from Paul at The Learning College. I completed some CPd and then found out that those courses wouldn't help me at the school where I am. That is why I completed this qualification and have managed to get a full time position in the school of my son.

I very much enjoyed my time on the course and found the variety of students and the fact that they all came from different working backgrounds both interesting and stimulating. Penny was a great tutor, and found time not only to teach, but to clearly explain the rationale behind the lessons. As someone who has been involved in a non-formal training environment for almost twenty years, I learned many activities that will make me a better trainer in future.

I enjoyed the course very much. It has given me more confidence in myself to achieve what I can. The course was very good and it made me more aware of the need to progress in what we do to make the education of adults more rewarding for all involved. In places I found the course quite hard but it was very rewarding when I achieved what was required. I think that I have learnt a great deal by taking part in this course which will make me better and more professional in my career. This company uses a moodle which has lots of resources for students. Assignments are uploaded via the moodle and teaching observations are done by video.
Assignments and observations are marked in the same week and the feedback was always constructive.
It was excellent value for money and I paid on a monthly basis.
You are also sent your awarding body and registration details pretty quickly.
If I had any questions the Tutor would generally answer them the same day via the chat on the moodle.
Restored my faith in online training.

Almost nearing completion of my L3 Supporting Teaching and Learning course. When I saw the modules, I was a little anxious initially as it has been a while that I have studied. Once I got involved in the course, this became simpler. The course substance is descriptive and aided me to acquire plenty of information and also bolstered me to comprehend. Emails are replied to swiftly and submissions are assessed within a stipulated time. Comfortable, can learn at your own speed without any stress. Would surely go for another course with NCC and would endorse too.

I had some doubts about enrolling because I had never taken a course like this. I am not so young anymore, so, I was too embarrassing of going to school again. About this point I must say UK Open College was an excellent choice to learn how to work with children and particularly ones with learning difficulties. My initial apprehension has been overcome since I have a routine now which suits my circumstances. I feel totally confident to send an email to my tutor with my doubts and get so quick answers. Better late than never to study!

My tutor encouraged me to maintain a positive approach. I cannot thank my tutor enough. Completing the Access to Higher Education Primary Teaching course was one of the most difficult things I have ever done, balancing studies, family and work was very hard but my appointed tutors proved invaluable. They were always on hand to provide support and guidance and were very understanding of the difficulties that people face while completing additional learning. Working at a full time position which implied a ton of movement from one place to other and additionally having a developing family implied that getting the capabilities to change to my picked vocation would be troublesome. Completing the Access to Higher Education Primary Teaching course was one of the most difficult things I have ever done, balancing studies, family and work was very hard but my appointed tutors proved invaluable. They were always on hand to provide support and guidance and were very understanding of the difficulties that people face while completing additional learning. The modules and assessments were detailed and informative and presented in a way that was clear and concise. I would highly recommend Distance Learning Centre.

Out of learning for more than 20 years. Working at a full time position which implied a ton of movement from one place to other and additionally having a developing family implied that getting the capabilities to change to my picked vocation would be troublesome. My tutor would answer any question I had no matter if it was 1am or 7am. I have to say it took me a while to get used to the system, but once I did, it fell into place. As my tutor would agree, I’m ‘to the point’ kinda guy, and sometimes felt that the answers could be condensed, but I understand that there are guidelines to follow and adhered to. Thanks a million PCt2U.

'I enjoyed the course and found it very informative, my queries were answered quickly and clearly and my tutor guided me through the moodle system. I found it difficult to fit in around my busy working schedule but managed ok and would have benefited more if I had more time at home to do the work but I needed to get it done by a deadline so that is no reflection on my tutor. I am now looking at progressing onto another course that will help me on my career path of being involved in a training environment.

'I really enjoyed the course, it's was laid out in a simple way and was easy to work through on my own and most importantly it fit around my 5 month old baby. The tutor was there to help when necessary and his feedback was really constructive. I would highly recommend doing your AET through Pct2u'.
