The Saks Complete Men’s Hairdressing / Barbering Course for
Beginners covers everything you need to be up and running working as a barber or opening your own barber shop. Successful students receive the industry renowned Saks Diploma and NVQ level 2 in mens hairdressing.

The course content includes:
• Cutting techniques
• Razoring, together with beard and moustache trimming
• Clipper work
• Colour
• How to shampoo and condition the hair and scalp
• Consultation skills
• Style, dress and finishing techniques
• Reception duties, customer care and health and safety

The course modules are taught by experienced men’s hairdressing educators and include theory work, special projects, demonstrations and hands-on workshops. You receive personal guidance and monitoring throughout the course to ensure you are achieving the learning goals required.
