This degree emphasises the programming techniques that form a fundamental part of modern games technology. You will acquire the advanced skills and knowledge needed for game programming roles in the games industry. These include designing and implementing computer systems involving graphics and games technology.
At the heart of this course is a focus on the knowledge and techniques for video game programming. You will also acquire a strong skill set in computer applications, information systems, databases and systems infrastructure, which will ensure your employability across a range of industry roles.

This course provides a thorough education in computing for industry meaning you graduate with advanced skills in the development of software and are able to design and manage complex information systems.

What are we looking for?
A-levels – BBB including an IT, Maths or Science subject; or
120 UCAS Tariff points from three A-levels or equivalent qualifications, including an A-level grade B equivalent in an IT, Maths or a Science subject; or
BTEC Extended Diploma grades DDM (including relevant IT, Maths or Science modules); and
GCSE English and Maths grade C/4.
