Description of the Course
The course is designed to build on the skills and knowledge learned in Manual Payroll Level3 andto extendthe knowledge ofSAGEPayrollgained on Computerised Payroll Level 2 to enable them to process more complex tasks.
Course content
The course will include:

· Make changes to system settings
· Make complex gross pay calculations
· Make complex adjustments for expenses and benefits
· Make complex adjustments for additions and deductions
· Make key changes during the year
· Produce key period and data printouts and reconciliations
· Produce management information
· Understand confidentiality, security and other statutory responsibilities
· Produce printouts

Assessment
One external examination.
Who is the course for?
The course is designed to meet the needs of individuals in payroll employment who wish to improve their skills and knowledge and gain a further recognised qualification in payroll and for those who are planning a career change in payroll administration.
Entry requirements
Numeracy and Literacy qualifications at Level 2, IAB Manual Payroll Level 3 and Computerised Payroll Level 2 or equivalents.

An examination fee payable through Customer Services to the IAB of £35. It is advisable that learners have access to Sage Payroll; a student version of the software can be purchased via the college for £30 to enable learners to developat home.
