Entry Requirements
In order to satisfy the entrance requirements for the BSc Information Systems and Management,
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration and must demonstrate that you have reached a level of competence in Mathematics at least equivalent to a pass at GCSE/GCE 'O' Level, at not less than grade C, in a mathematical subject.
Applicants should also hold passes in either:
- two subjects at GCE 'A' Level + at least three further subjects at GCSE or GCE 'O' Level (at not less than grade C or a 'pass' if taken prior to 1975)
- or three subjects at GCE 'A' Level + one further subject at GCSE or GCE 'O' Level (at not less than grade C)
- or two subjects at GCE 'A' Level + two further subjects at 'AS' Level.
Note: Applicants with other qualifications not listed above and/or suitable work experience will be considered by the University on an individual basis. There are many other acceptable qualifications (pdf: 6pgs, 91KB), both from the UK and overseas, which the University accepts instead of British 'O' and 'A' Levels.
Course Overview
The programme aims to give you a wide appreciation of the subject, rather than just an understanding of existing commercial approaches, so that your knowledge can evolve and adapt to meet contemporary needs. You will develop skills in:
