To be accepted in the program you have to do a personal interview, where we will assess your motivation and commitment and we will analyze your entire portfolio through your instagram account or other source

MAA is a school registered in the Art Renewal Center (an American association in charge of promoting professional academic education) so when you finish your studies, you will receive your own diploma, with the seal of the Madrid Academy of Art and that of Art Renewal Center.

Although you will have your diploma at the end of your studies, the most important thing will be your portfolio. Your work will be your best cover letter.

This is an important step in your career as an artist so we will inform you (by email or whatapp) about the entire process, so that you can make your decision with peace of mind

if you live in Madrid or have the opportunity to visit us, we will invite you to spend a day at the academy, so that you can try out the classes, talk to the students and the teachers. It is the best way to find out if MAA is what you really want

If you don't have the opportunity to visit us, we always can do an online tour through the academy.

1ST STEP - APLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP IN OUR WEB

Once you apply for the scholarship:
1st - We will send you an email or whatapp to book an appointment by zoom. In this call we make sure that the school is a good fit for you, we answer all the questions and we give you a guided online tour of the academy
2nd - After the meeting (normally in less tha 24h) we send you a whatsapp or email with the scholarship resolution
3rd - If positive, If the resolution is positive, you must make the deposit of the reservation €345 before the date that we indicate in the mail (normally within 15 days from receipt of the confirmation)
3rd - If negative, If the resolution is negative, we will send you an email with the options that best suit your particular case.
4th - Once we receive the reservation payment, we will send you the letters for your visa application
5th - The final payment of the term have to be done one month before the start date of the program. We will send you an email with all the instructions and important dates (start and end of the term, payment date...)
6th - You are now a MAA Student


2ND STEP - GET READY TO LIVE IN MADRID

If you are coming from outside europe you will need to apply for a student visa. Please check our visa section for that.

3ND STEP - ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE

Madrid is a city full art and great museums: the Prado Museum, the Sorolla Museum, the Thyssen Museum, the Reina Sofía Museum, the Romanticism Museum, the Lázaro Galiano Museum, the Cerralbo Museum...In Madrid you have a lot to see and enjoy!! So get ready to enjoy ALL
