The course will comply with the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997 so that candidates are able to:
- Have an understanding and appreciation of the current legislation in respect to confined spaces.
- Identify the hazards associated with confined spaces
- Understand the need to carry out risk assessments and operate Permit to Work systems
- Understand the minimum safety equipment requirements and procedures to be utilised for safe entry and egress
- Understand the responsibilities Top - man and individuals within the team
- Understand the actions and reporting procedures needed in respect to response to emergencies
- Entry and Exit of confined spaces without the need for self rescue breathing apparatus
Suitable For
Candidates who are required to plan, enter, work and exit confined spaces categories NC 1, 2, 3 and 4.
