The aim of the course is to teach delegates the correct and safe methods of Confined Space Entry.

- Practical Exercises and Demonstrations
- The course is a blend of both theory and practical. Delegates must bring their own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) which should include safety helmet, overalls, work gloves, safety glasses and safety boots.
- As there is a measure of physical exertion in the afternoon session, it is the responsibility of the sponsoring company to ensure that their delegates are physically fit enough to undertake/ participate in the exercises
- The course does not seek to provide training in the use of Breathing Apparatus (BA) or First Aid. Candidates should attend the appropriate specialist training at another time.
- The course assessment seeks to establish the candidates understanding of the range of issues involved in working, or supervising employees in confined spaces in accordance with current legislation.
- The sessions are interactive and candidates will be expected to participate fully to obtain the maximum benefit from the course.
- All timings are indicative and although NETA will make every attempt to work to them, no guarantee is given.
