What will you be learning?
This course is designed for people employed in the plant machinery industry to provide them with skills and knowledge in plant maintenance and repair.

The course includes: Developing an understanding of the principles and techniques relevant to the practical work of plant machinery and diesel engines together with a comprehensive training in all aspects of construction machinery repair.

Assessment is by a series of practical tasks and evidence of underpinning knowledge that will build into a portfolio.

What happens when you have finished?
After you have successfully completed this course you can progress onto the NVQ 3 or enter full-time employment.
