Looking at the monotypes of the artists Alison Lambert, Betsy Dadd and Bill Jacklyn whose use of printmaking, specifically monotype is pivotal to their practice. This course will focus on monotypes created using rollers and brushes.

Course programme
We will make prints inspired by some contemporary artists/printmakers using additive and/or subtractive monotype techniques. We will be using an etching press to print the work.
There will be a short talk about contemporary monotypes and you will be taught by demonstration and practical application. Technical information will be supported with handouts and throughout the session you will be guided by your tutor.Additional information
