Control and management of Infection 2hrs

This course provides the learner with the knowledge and skills required to
promote and implement effective infection control measures in their work setting.

This unit is aimed at those who support individuals either directly or indirectly in
a wide range of settings.

∇ Understand own responsibilities, and the responsibilities of others,
relating to infection control
∇ Be able to carry out own responsibilities for infection control
∇ Understand procedures for responding to accidents and sudden illness
∇ Be able to reduce the spread of infection
∇ Be able to handle hazardous substances and materials
