Corporate Strategy
-
I was worried that four days talking about strategy was going to be a problem. But I was wrong. The fact that there were so many exercises meant that there was a great mix of theory and activity and then it was all tied back into what I was doing at work. Of all the workshops and training programs I’ve been on, this one was a real standout.

The venue was amazing. It was the most pain-free experience. Add to that, the delegate packs really blew people away - all of this before the actual workshop! On the point of the workshop the content was very interesting and the workbook made sure that we didn’t have to suffer data overload but could focus on exercises that tied back into what we are doing in the organisation. You guys were great!

I have been assigned responsibility for looking at the overall strategy of our company, specialising in construction. Eskil gave us an option of different facilitators and we selected a French speaker to deliver four days to us. We completed over twenty exercises designed to build our corporate strategy including branding, positioning, pricing, etc. I really enjoyed the workshop but think we would have benefited from it being two sessions of two days each to give us an opportunity to absorb all the learning. When Eskil completes creating its workshop that also includes elearning, I will be sending my department on this program.

Corporate Strategy is concerned with how companies create value across different businesses: the business model; the market landscape; identifying what customers want (and will pay a premium for) – without a corporate strategy, an organisation is rudderless in the water. Regardless of the position of your organisation in its corporate lifecycle, corporate strategy is an essential – and this falls to the senior leadership team as well as aspiring leaders.

About this course
During an intensive 4 days with 27 exercises, you can expect to realise such outcomes / outputs as:
- Identify market & business strategies.
- Map the business environment; Explore strategic capabilities.
- Develop a strategic purpose.
- Correlate culture and strategy.
- Build your business strategy.
Our workshops are based around confidentiality: senior people need a safe 'sandboxed' environment to explore their thinking and so we must create the right space for this to happen.
Based on this, our program is only open to such people as:
- CEOs / Managing Directors interested in growing their strategic capability.
- Members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) needing to bolster their strategic strengths.
- Members of the Senior Management Team identified for progression into the SLT.
If you are unsure about the suitability of this workshop for you, contact our Concierge Team and they can talk it through with you.
An output of this short course is a portfolio of strategies designed to focus / refocus your organisation's direction. In addition, you will spend time 1:1 with one of our leadership experts. Our Internal Verification team will review your output prior to sending you your Certification of Completion. All of this can be attached to your CV / HR Record as a demonstration of competence.
Facilitated by former CEOs and leadership experts, our multi-lingual programs are held in high-quality venues using serious games, extensive individual and group exercises, contemporary case studies and more. Our ROI-focused sessions are limited to a maximum of 16 people at a time but our model has been designed for us to deliver 1:1 in certain circumstances.
You will be contacted by a member of our Concierge Team to discuss your motivation for attending the short course and to determine what objectives you are looking for our facilitators to realise for you during the course of the sessions.
