Cosmetic Make-Up & Beauty Consultancy VTCT Level 2

Course Overview
This course is suitable for those interested in learning professional skills in cosmetic make-up and consultancy. It is particularly suitable for those candidates wishing to enter the beauty therapy industry or for those who wish to increase their knowledge and skills in the beauty therapy and complete additional units / modules.

Course Structure
The programme is delivered over 18 weeks. Attendance will be one evening per week 6pm - 9pm. All practical work will be carried out in the college's treatment rooms.

VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Cosmetic Make-Up and Beauty Consultancy
VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Health, Safety, Security and Employment Standards

Assessments/Examinations
Continual written and practical assessments / assignments in both theory and practical aspects of the course. Practical assessments are carried out in a realistic work encironment (RWE) on fee-paying clients. A portfolio of evidence is compiled throughout the course and submitted for final verification.
health & Safety, Security and employment standards are assessed by external written papers. As such this will involve completion of home assignments working towards the multiple choice written question paper.
