{if "<p><span style="line-height: 1.6em">This is a 36-week course running "} What stands out about this course?This is a 36-week course running on Wednesday evenings 18:00 - 21:00, plus one Saturday each month between 09:00 - 17:00.
The learning is very student-centred with use of small groups, professional discussion, role-play, activity, presentation, personal development groups and research. Students will need to allocate around four hours a week for home study and practice.
For 2016 the course fee has been reduced from £2225.00 to £1985.00 which includes the registration fee. If you are aged 19-23 with no level 3 qualification this course may be free. Because of the hours of contact time and the skills developed on the course, it is seen as one of the thresholds for progression and entry to other colleges or universities.
100% of our students who have applied have been offered places on either the Higher Education Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling or the Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Please note: This course is not suitable if you have unresolved emotional issues and does not qualify you to be a counsellor.
