Course content:
This course is an ideal qualification for those already working in an environment where interpersonal skills are needed and who wish to consolidate their skills and knowledge.
It is also designed for candidates who might wish to consider a career in counselling.
Learning is experiential and therefore personal development is an inherent part of the course.
Three structured units will enable you to apply counselling skills, evaluate and develop your own work and use counselling skills in context.
In order to access this qualification, candidates will need to have either the NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Interpersonal Skills (or similar award) or certified practical experience of using counselling skills with a minimum of 30 hours.
This qualification provides progression to Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills
and Theory.
This course will include 2 Saturday workshops on 16 January and 13 February from 0930-1600.
