These two one-day courses provide existing QMS Lead Auditors with the knowledge and skills to audit the changes between the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008 and those of ISO 9001: 2015. The course meets all of the training requirements for IRCA auditor transition registration.

The courses can be individually or combined in two one-day modules.

About this course

People with existing IRCA registration as QMS auditors and lead auditors will find this essential to their continued registrations. The Annex SL module will be useful for auditors/lead auditors in other disciplines who can then take a separate module specific to their discipline (e.g. environmental, food etc.).

Before attending this course we expect delegates to have a good working knowledge of:
• the terminology used in quality management
• ISO 9001: 2008 requirements and how to audit these
• the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle as applied to quality management systems
• the core elements of a management system and the interrelationship between top management responsibility, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, measurement, review and continual improvement
We provide reminders of these in the comprehensive notes that accompany it

Course programme

The courses are structured in modules that build on each other.
Module 1 on Day 1 concentrates on auditing the Annex SL core requirements that apply to all ISO management system standards.
Module 2 concentrates on the quality specific requirements.

We provide on loan a copy of ISO 9001: 2015 for each delegate and a bound comprehensive audit checklist. The checklists can be purchased from the tutor or via www.jemo.co.uk if required
