  • I would like to thank everyone at IQMS Learning for presenting a first-class Lead Auditor: 9001 -2015 course - 23 – 27 November 2020. From the administration (Helen Green) to the managing director (Steve Nicholas), who made all forms of contact and information both friendly and approachable while maintaining a professional stance. A special thanks to David White. The Lead Auditors course was presented by David White; David’s style of delivering this course is above and beyond that of an average lecturer, very professional but also very friendly. The course content was delivered at a good pace with plenty of time for debate and questions/answers, also reviewing the standard and explaining information in detail to cover all aspects of the standard and auditing. David’s approach to myself as a student was to give every bit of encouragement to gain the best results from the course in preparation leading to the exam. This alleviated any pressure during the course and exam. This is the second course I have undertaken with IQMS Learning and plan to attend further courses in the future. As I am from a welding/QC background I find that employers are now requesting the Internal Auditor/ Lead Auditors qualification to work with existing qualifications as part of the job requirements. I would recommend IQMS Learning to anyone who is looking to gain a qualification in Auditing; a professional organization with an outstanding qualified lecturer and reinforced with all-round support. This knowledge can be gained in a number of ways:
Previous experience and existing knowledge
Attending a CQI and IRCA certified training ISO 9001 Foundation course – or equivalent
Reading or self-study

What are the benefits
The course is designed not only to help people perform value-adding quality audits, but also to develop delegates’ wider understanding of quality management systems design and implementation. In particular it will help delegates get to grips with those issues of ever-increasing importance, such as risk based thinking, understanding how internal and external issues are managed by an effective management system, customer satisfaction, continual improvement and the management of processes. It will help delegates understand how these critical issues can be embedded into the quality management system of an organisation.
