Create Your Own Publicity Materials

Course Overview
This ten week course is for people who want to learn, using the Photoshop program, how to prepare publicity materials such as business cards, letterheads, posters or flyers. This would be ideal for small firms, charitable organisations or those who are self-employed who want to stand out from the crowd and make your publicity materials look professional.

Course Structure
There are no formal entry requirements, although as mushc of the course is computer-based, some basic IT skills would be advantageous.

Qualification Aims
There are no formal qualifications for this course; students who complete the programme will be awarded a College Certificate of Achievement, and by the end of the course you should have a portfolio of professional-looking publicity materials to promote your work, business or social events.

Assessments/Examinations
There are no examinations or assessments for this course; students will be given advice and encouragement in improving their designs throughout the course.

Cost / Equipment
Course cost:£210.
Students will need to have basic drawing materials, ruler, scissors, felt pens, notebook, and if possible a digital camera.
