Creative Media Production and Technology UAL Award/Diploma Level 2

You will develop a wide range of skills associated with film, TV, radio and digital online content; actively engaging in practical sessions on cinematography (camera and lighting techniques), sound production and post production editing in sound and video. Practical sessions are complemented with sessions which explore employment opportunities related to the creative industries. Throughout the year you will develop an online portfolio of evidence which will demonstrate your continual improvement in all practical aspects of the course. This might include evidence of film challenges, sound recording experiments and video editing tasks. Using the skills you have developed you will choose a media product you wish to research and create before publishing your finished production online, this could include: a short film, documentary, podcast or TV show. There will be an opportunity to study English and Mathematics as the appropriate level alongside the main qualification.
