Course programme

What will I learn?

You will learn about: developing video & audio production; editing; desktop publishing, and job opportunities in creative media

How will I be assessed?

You will be continually assessed by practical and written assignments, group projects and production work All individual units you learn are assessed and graded, making up an overall grade for this course In addition, you will study and take an exam in at least one functional skill (in English, Mathematics or ICT)

What may it lead to?

You can move onto a Level 2 Media Production course or another Creative Arts course at this level

Entry Requirements

There are no formal requirements, but entry on the course is subject to an interview

Work Experience

There are competitive work placement programmes available for suitably motivated students with broadcasters such as ITV, KMFM Digital The College works with (and supports) students to find work experience
