2. Course description This half-day course offers an introduction to creative writing in all its forms. It provides an opportunity to explore individual writing interests and aspirations, whether you wish to write a novel, memoir, short stories, poetry or non-fiction. The course offers techniques for inspiring creativity, encouraging self-expression and polishing your writing skills.

3. Entry requirements All abilities. No previous experience of Creative Writing is required - all you need is enthusiasm! For those who have always wanted to 'have a go' at writing, this session offers a supportive and friendly atmosphere in which to take the plunge. For learners with some experience, the course will provide an opportunity to reassess the process of story-telling and experiment with ways to develop your writing. Learners are encouraged to read and discuss their work with the group.We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. Please let staff know if you require any extra support when you enrol and they will arrange for a member of the Supported Learning Team to contact you to discuss your support needs.
