This is a suitable course to do alongside and A2 programme.
How will I be assessed?
One unit is internally set and assessed by the course team, the other is external unit set by the examination board. Assessment objectives will be based on knowledge, skills, understanding and responses to briefs.
What can I do afterwards?
Progression is possible to Level 3 courses including AS/A2 Applied Art, AS/A2 Fine Art.
Are there any additional costs involved?
It is expected that students will visit galleries and/or museums during the one year course. Students should also be prepared to buy their own personal art equipment. Total possible costs £50.
