Studing here has been the best experience of my life. I was terrified when my plane first landed in England and I just wanted to go back home but everyone was so supportive. I fell in love with the venue. UEA is next to a pretty lake and there are rabbits everywhere is the uni. Although I was afraid that the lectures will be extremely difficult to understand (as a law student I was not used to common law legal system) but the lecturers where so good and helped you understand everything. If you like a small uni in a quiet town Norwich and UEA are the perfect option. Do not miss an opportunity to go there, even for just a semester, as I did.

The university was not satisfying, it's so big that I could get involved so much and barely attend any events making friends. look at the union, facilities, communities and academic before choosing any university and don't expect too much from QM, and don't apply worriedly, clearing team are very helpful so clear with them first.

A lot of knowledge is given but no actual practical skills are taught during the classes. Teacher-student engagement is very minimal. Hello everyone, I come from India, with a Bachelors's degree in Engineering.
Completely new to the field, but with a great interest in Current affairs, Political strategies and History studying MA in International Relations, was a good choice for me.
Professors with vast experience as Diplomats, Thinktanks, and Ambassadors helped me learn many new things which will undoubtedly help me in my career ahead.
The course involves subjects related to economics and management as well giving you an overall glimpse of other fields if we plan to work in corporate companies.
Taking everything into account, I would genuinely recommend this course for each one of you with similar interests in the field or even more.
Thank You!!

I would expect to get involved in activities facilitated by the department and NGOs in Europe, which I believe would benefit students for their future career. However, I haven't experienced these yet so far. Theoretical knowledge is not enough for IR students, that is why practical experience is necessary in order to support what students have learned in classroom.
