Explore International Relations from Paris and obtain a postgraduate degree from one of the UK’s top universities.
The MA in International Relations is concerned with analysing the key issues and concepts in world politics. The programme will provide you with a sophisticated theoretical and applied understanding of international relations including areas of expertise such as war and security, globalisation and development, and US foreign policy. Course programme

Structure

Students must undertake four compulsory taught modules and a 12,000-word dissertation module.

Full-time study will be organised as follows:

  • Semester 1: Contemporary World Politics: Theories, Concepts, Themes and International Security: War and Peace in a Global Context
  • Semester 2: Globalisation and the International Political Economy of Development and Vocational Placement Module
  • Semester 2/3: Dissertation
