Lecturers at Coventry are all very supportive, and my degree content I find it relevant and engaging. There are great opportunities for social activities and international travel that I have participated in. A especial emphasis is placed on employability skills, through mandatory modules throughout the duration of the degree, the opportunity to undertake summer and a year long placement between year 2 and year 3 is also actively encouraged. Very good, academic staff and available and supportive when needed and wider university pastoral care services are accessible should you need to use them.

It has been a wonderful experience since I am here. As already said, it was quite stressful planning everything before I arrived. But the Uni is great and has a good and positive atmosphere. Really enjoy it!university’s facilities? They are very modern and I love to be at the University. In fact, I am there more often than at home. The library is GREAT and has such good working spaces. The Hub is a great place to stay at and most buildings have more places where one can study. That is MUCH better than my German Uni! university’s facilities? It's been fantastic and great fun! Coventry doesn't always have the best reputation for being a nice city however it has completely exceeded my expectations. I am doing great in university, enjoying my placement year and its all down to the fantastic support I've received from the uni! The Faculty of Business & Law Employment Support Team at my university are fantastic. I am currently on a placement year and I couldn't have done it without them! They encouraged me to start applying by informing me of how important placement years are, helped me with my CV and cover letter and helped me with interviews. My Placement Adviser even sent me good luck messages before my interviews! I also had various careers modules in my first and second year that helped me with my employability; the Employment Support Team also organise employers to come in and do presentations whcih is also a great help! My university's facilities are excellent. They have just renovated the library so that it is more modern and have really listened to complainants that there wasn't enough computers as they have now opened up additional rooms with many more computers in!

I studied at Coventry University for less than a year, but the amount of kindness and nice people I have met makes up for all the new knowledge I have had to consume. If I had a choice to take my degree now, or continue on for two or three more years, I would stay, as a degree is worth nothing if you haven't had any life and uni experience. Because in the end, only one thing matters - to enjoy uni life at its fullest, thank you Coventry!

I chose this course because I heard it is very good, I got a lot of hands-on experience and we get to use new technology in this field. Professors are amazing as they help us out with new techniques and work. In addition, I also did a placement in the BBC. It was only one month, but I gained a lot of experience and I was even promoted to assistant producer. I was also given one week work as a bonus.

Apart from that, the degree content covers a wide range of topics from marketing, finances and legal all things needed to run a business. The university is amazing, many funding opportunities to enhance your business and academic life. It is very innovative and won lotsof awards and is number 15 in the U.K. And won uni of the year last year- why wouldn't you want to study at Coventry?

Throughly enjoying the experience of the independence, social and academic sides of university life. Joining a society really increased my confidence and made friends with people in other years. The PowerPoint presentations for the lectures and provided beforehand to allow questions to be answered. Good have a wide variety of societies to get involved with. I have really enjoyed this course so far. The lecturers always try their very best to find us great opportunities, which is very important especially for a course such as Event Management, where hands on experience is required. We have had the opportunity to go to many exciting places such as, Berlin, Amsterdam, China and South Africa as well as many different places around the UK. The course content is very good although contact hours are quite minimal, however if I needed more time with the lecturers to help me with any queries about my coursework or exams, I know all I would have to do is ask. Overall it is an excellent university who try very hard to offer their students the very best university experience.

Overall the university has been great. There have been a few blips along the way but my faculty has always helped me out. Lecturers are incredibly knowledgeable about the industry and are very helpful. They course is laid out in a great way and all builds into a final project. Finally the university also set up volunteer schemes where I was able to go out of town for free and help out in an elderly home. This worked well as research for my dissertation and gave my CV a bit more edge. The students union was excellent. A great place to go to study and meet friends plus a great selection of films shown there and food to buy.
