Course programme

One of the most difficult areas of supervisors work (especially newly appointed supervisors) is that of delegation. By the very nature of the job, a supervisor is responsbile for more than he or she can personally do. They must therefore delegate work to others. Deciding on the nature and number of tasks to be delegated can cuase considerable difficulty. This course aims to help managers, supervisors to identify tasks in their own jobs which should be delegated and the feects of delegating either too much or too little.Topics covered:- Why delegate- What should I delegate- Responsibility and authority- Task delegation- Reason for over / under delegating- Effects of over / under delegating
