An introduction to three dimensional model making, using a variety of simple materials and techniques to achieve effective 3D models, suitable for architecture, interior design or photographic/ art projects. This course is for beginners, with projects for advanced students.

Course programme

- Model making with a variety of simple materials such as wood and card.

The course will be a mixture of lectures, work demonstrations, one to one tuition, practical work on individual sample projects and informal group discussions. Most basic materials and equipment are provided. Useful tools to bring with you are a craft knife, a scalpel handle, 300mm steel rule, 150mm steel rule, 100mm engineers square. You should to bring a hardback sketchbook or sketchpad for idea development and a notebook for documentation. You might wish to bring/ purchase additional materials during the course as advised by your tutor.
