Develop and research your own photography project

- research and structure a picture story
- recognise the importance of composition and technique
- produce a set of pictures with a coherent theme or topic
- pitch a story and market your work
- demonstrate an understanding of ethics
- recognise the importance of editing
- demonstrate an ability to be more objective and critical of your own work.

Please bring your camera to the classes, and you may wish to bring a notebook, pen and a memory stick. City Lit has a range of digital SLR cameras, tripods and lenses which you are welcome to use during the hours of the class.
The City Lit photography studio (at Kean St) is an annex and not part of the main building; there is no reception, so please do not arrive more then 5 minutes before the start time of your class, and do try the door before ringing the bell.
