About this course

This course is for people who love Mediterranean cooking. You will cook a range of dishes from around the Mediterranean. There is no homework on this course, but you should keep a record or file of your recipes.

You do not require any formal qualifications to do the course, but you should have a good level of cooking ability or completed a similar course previously.You should be able to read handouts and follow verbal instructions independently. You should also be dexterous (able to hold and use equipment).

How will I learn?

You will learn through practical work by producing new and interesting dishes, tutor demonstrations and group discussions to apply new skills and knowledge.

How will my progress be monitored and assessed?

Your tutor will continually observe and support you and give you regular feedback about your progress.

What equipment or materials will I need to provide?

You will need an apron, tea towel, pen, file and container each week. You can expect to spend approximately £5-10 per week on ingredients. Your tutor will advise you what you need each week and where to shop.
