About this module
This module will develop your foundation of knowledge in systemic practice by introducing key models of systemic and relational practice using a historical framework. This enables you to appreciate how the progression of the development of theories and practices, and how their relationship to one another, developed.
You’ll be encouraged to build on the ethical and anti-discriminatory position that you began in the module The Reflective Systemic Practitioner. You’ll also consider how the various models might fit with and enhance your practice.
During the course there is a strong emphasis on critically evaluating the models and their relevance to practice. You will be encouraged to practice the ideas you learn within the group setting and begin to explore how these ideas are enhancing your practice.
