"If you are good with practical work and have an eye for detail, electrical installations could be a great career for you. Electricians install and maintain the equipment needed for the safe and efficient use of electricity, including fitting and repairing electrical circuits and wiring.

Successful completion of the Diploma in Electrical Installations programme will provide the qualifications and required knowledge criteria necessary for work in the electro-technical industry. Alongside the C&G 2357 (NVQ) and AM2, this will qualify you as an electrician.
