You will cover topics such as:
· PV systems
· Wind turbines
· Water turbines
· Electrical and electronic theory
· 3 phase systems
· Specialist installations
· Bio Diesel Production.
Progression/career opportunities
On successful completion, you will receive a National Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and be able to work within that industry or further your prospects by continuing your studies at College.
Extra information Students will be required to purchase personal protective equipment (PPE) including overalls and boots. There is a £60 fee on all construction courses to cover the cost of your equipment including text books, files, pens, pencils, scale ruler, tape measure etc. to be paid at enrolment.
Screening
Students will also be screened (in the College) and must achieve literacy and numeracy at the level appropriate to the course.
