It is important that you have a strong interest in the subject area and, ideally, that you have studied drama or dance before. Entry to this course requires a good general education and is dependent on a successful audition (see below) and interview.

This is an advanced level course.  Achievement at Distinction attracts 420 UCAS points.

At the interview there will be a group warm up, some contact work, learn a short dance and monologues previously learnt prior to the audition.  We are looking to see that you can work with other people, you can think on your feet and that you have tried to learn your lines.

The BTEC Extended Diploma is for creative and energetic students who require a good qualification in dance and drama. Students will need to be passionate about the area and be willing to try new ideas, explore and experiment.
