"As part of my continual professional development in my teaching role I completed my CET course. It is my intention to complete the DET course then continue to complete the NQTS. Due to the nature of my role as an instructor completing the DET course will enable me to have a more comprehensive understanding of the teaching role. The CET allowed me an insight into the course itself and the expectations of the more advanced courses. My expectations is to complete the DET within the time scale, and develop a greater understanding of the teaching role itself, develop my understanding of learning and teaching approaches as I feel that this will not only benefit my own teaching skills but also benefit the learners as they will be involved in lessons that are well planned and managed with motivating lessons and improved assessment skills. The support that I received to complete my CET was outstanding and I feel confident that this support will also aid me throughout the course in order to complete it at a high standard. My personal aims with regards to completing this course is to progress to become a qualified teacher and the senior management have confirmed that they will support me throughout the course and have explained my personal continual professional development and that they hope to see progress into a qualified teacher role".

Having never done a course like this before I initially felt quite apprehensive but once I begun to focus on the subject and worked through the notes I felt more at ease. I completed the Teaching Assistant Level 2 course this month. I personally liked the course and the tutor. I found this course to be very comprehensive and it covered all of the topics that I needed to know. I found the tutor very helpful and the assignments were marked and feedback was provided very promptly. I found course notes clear and could contact tutor with questions at any time. Would highly recommend it.

I just finished the Teaching Assistant Level 2 course with Study House Ltd. I throughly enjoyed this course as it was both challenging and informative. It was a very interesting course, I honestly think that all materials were excellent. I work in a primary school as a Teaching Assistant and I learnt a lot about school legislation and procedures which will be invaluable during my career, as much of this is new to me and I have not currently had experience of this at the school so far.

My coach was Kerry Steele and she was brilliant. She made me feel like I had bolster there all the time as she was only an email or a phone call away. Penny was a great tutor, and found time not only to teach, but to clearly explain the rationale behind the lessons. As someone who has been involved in a non-formal training environment for almost twenty years, I learned many activities that will make me a better trainer in future.

Your work is marked very quickly and you are not sat around waiting to see how you have done before you start your next module. With a time scale of 1 year you have time (but not so much that you forget) to do the reading required. Over all I really recommend this course.
