Dog Grooming Level 1 - Access course to Level 2

The course will introduce you to: the basics of dog grooming and bathing; dog handling; canine behaviour; using professional equipment; and healthcare

This is designed to lead to the Level 2 Dog Grooming qualification Please note that to progress to the level 2 is dependent on the tutors assessment of your suitability for level 2 as you complete the day It is also important before you enrol on the course that due to very high demand for our Dog Grooming level 2 course that there is a waiting list and admission is not guaranteed before September 2016 and possibly beyond Your tutor on the day will inform you of the current length of our waiting lists

There are no entry requirements for this course, but should you progress to level 2 you will be required to have a successful interview

If possible, you must bring a dog for the course If you are unable to get a dog, one can be supplied if you let the College know four days (or more) in advance If you need a dog supplied, contact either Marian Burch (01227 811289 / mburch@canterburycollegeacuk) or Jane Rolfe (01227 811289 / jrolfe@canterburycollegeacuk) The cost is £6500 and that it runs as a one off between 9am - 1pm
