This course is for you if you wish to work in the Gas Installation and Maintenance industry.

You will be assessed on your English and Maths skills.
After applying you will have an interview to determine which course is suitable for your needs and abilities.
- Minimum Literacy Level: Entry 2
- Minimum Numeracy Level: Entry 2
- You can read and understand short pieces of writing such as letters, messages, simple stories, timetables and adverts. You can write short pieces of writing - for example an email to a friend, a simple letter, a story or a message.
- You can work with numbers, symbols, and simple diagrams. You can add and subtract simple numbers and use simple fractions. You can use money, tell the time, measure things and know about squares, triangles and rectangles.
What qualification will I receive?
You would receive a Technical Certificate in Domestic Natural Gas Installation & Maintenance Level 2.
Where can it lead?
You can go on to do a Level 3 Technical Certificate.
What will I study?
Subjects you will study in the two year course include: theoretical and practical information on Gas installation techniques and practices.
How will I be taught?
A mix of practical and technical study.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through theory tests.
