E-learning Modules - Each session you will be asked to complete one E-learning Module within the E-Academy. Each E-learning module will have learning outcomes and associated core success skills, so you can clearly see the knowledge which you are aiming to acquire by the end of the module. The E-learning module will walk you step by step through the topic. This will comprise of videos from entrepreneurs in the Den and a notepad so you can make “virtual” annotations. There will also be quick questions within each module which are not graded, but are designed to help reinforce the concepts which have been introduced. An expert coach will help you along the way, giving important pointers and informing you why he does or does not agree with your analysis.

Recommended Reading Upon completion of each E-learning module, you are given a source for further points of study. This will usually be in the form of a chapter from a textbook. You should read these to gain an even greater depth of knowledge on the given topic and to ensure you do well on both the case studies and Mini-Exam.

Dragons' Den Role Simulation– Each session you will be asked to apply the knowledge gained previously in the E-Academy and further reading to authentic Dragons’ Den case studies. Each case study has increasing levels of difficulty in terms of learning outcomes and challenges to fast track your development. Again, each case study will set out clearly the learning outcomes and the key skills which you will practice and develop. When deciding whether or not to invest you will get the opportunity to watch a genuine pitch from the Dragons' Den, ask questions and rate the Market, Competitors and Risk. You can then see how this correlates to the Dragons' Judgement and Computer’s Judgement as well as discovering the case conclusion. You will progress on the “Journey to Success” bar accordingly.

Mini Exam - At the end of the programme you will be asked to look over all the material you have previously gone through in the E-Academy and Practice section before completing your mini exam. This is 20 minutes long, contains 19 multiple choice questions and requires a 40% pass rate (though you are able to re-take the exam until you pass). On completion of the programme you will receive a Business Success Toolkit which will allow you to analyse a business or develop a business idea using the methodology (the Fast Strategy™ methodology) you have been taught in the programme. This will allow you to assess the strengths and weaknesses of your idea and identify ways in which you can improve it. We also give you a action plan to help you move forward with your idea.
