Course Overview
This course is for students who are able to respond to instructions, work in a group and who want to learn to be more independent
Course Structure
Students will maintain and develop their personal skills through drama and Music. Most students will be working at an experiential level
The course will include:
· Music and movement, which will allow the student to develop a basic vocabulary of words, sounds and signs.
· Opportunity for students to communicate with others and to be more assertive.
· Opportunities to prepare, produce and evaluate a performance.
· Work towards improving their fitness through a range of movement techniques, using exercises to suit individual needs.
Students will complete a portfolio of work

Upon successful completion of this course students will achieve a recognised certificate

Cost / Equipment
Tuition is free to those who can provide evidence of being in receipt of income support.
£10.00 Material costs.
£15.00 Registration and Certification.
All fees to be paid to the tutor at the start of the course. All other fees are the responsibility of the applicant including refreshments, visits etc.
Places are limited to applicants who have not attended College previously or those who have attendee for 2-3 years.
