Drawing and sketching in London's hidden gardens

• feel more confident to sketch outside in public spaces
• have one or more strategy in mind to help you get started
• continue to improve learned techniques
• be familiar with a range of different effects from a variety of drawing materials.

You will be shown all materials the first week and paints will be provided. If you do not have paper, the tutor will sell it to you on the first week, but thereafter you will need to bring your own paper, brushes and other materials to the gardens each week.

The tutor will give individual feedback and have some exercises and suggestions of painting that you can do in between classes, aimed at helping you with the challenges of painting outside.
