Course programme

Dreamweaver

Course Objectives:
Dreamweaver is the world's most popular web design tool. Internet Etc are established experts with Dreamweaver, having worked directly with Macromedia on features of the product during development.
Available for both Mac and PC, Dreamweaver permits WYSIWYG generation of complex page components such as animated layers, JavaScript routines, and style sheets. However, the main attraction of Dreamweaver is that it permits the designer to work directly with the HTML itself as and when they choose, seamlessly switching between direct coding and WYSIWYG modes.
Dreamweaver has proved popular with corporate intranet designers because it supports site libraries which permit standardisation of page components. It offers administrators the ability to customise the interface and limit the capabilities of end-users.
Dreamweaver is one of the few web tools which generates 100% standard code which will run on any browser, while also offering the ability to tune pages for peak performance on a specific product.
The ability to change style or positioning properties with a page is what is commonly called dynamic HTML, or DHTML. Dreamweaver has four DHTML features: Layers, Styles, Timelines, and Behaviours.
