DRIVER CPC: ARE YOU PREPARED?

What YOU need to know about the Periodic Driver CPC Legislative Requirements

Ø On 10 Sept 2009 the Driver CPC requirement takes affect

Ø Existing drivers will automatically acquire “Initial Driver CPC qualifications under “Grandfather Rights”

Ø Qualified drivers of vehicles rated 3.5 tonne or greater will need to complete 35-hours of training to be DCPC qualified

Ø Training can be administered by attending 7-hours of “Periodic Training” per year over a 5-year period (35-hours total)
