Course programme
Thank you for your interest in training with FTS Solutions.
The LGV C1 licence category is for drivers who obtained their Car Driving Licence after January 1st 1997 and wish to drive a van or small lorry which has a gross plated weight between 3500kg (3.5 Tons) and up to 7500kg (7.5 Tons).
The course takes place over 3 to 4 days with the practical test on the fifth day. We will pair you with another driver so that you both learn from observing the other. Our training vehicle is at the bottom of the weight range, thereby greatly increasing your chances of a first time pass.
FTS Solutions trains DSA Categories C1 and the Edexcel IHCD Ambulance courses. If you wish to train as an ambulance driver, we can offer you a reduced package price for all the courses you need and an ambulance driving instructor will instruct you throughout, greatly enhancing your chances of progressing to emergency response capability.
We run this course at the same venues as our other driving courses and can put dates on upon request.
